There's a shocking murder, a police officer looking for his big break, a whole host of nefarious suspects and a grand piano to be played in Murder for Two, the two-actor musical farce that opens Center Repertory Company's new season.

The 90-minute show that spoofs old-fashion murder mysteries has one actor (Eric Van Tielen) playing a police officer hoping to prove he can be a detective by a cracking a murder case with a number of suspects (all played by Eric Shorey). In the middle of it all is a grand piano, because of course no murder mystery is complete without a showbiz tune or two.

The 2011 comedy has had successful runs in New York, Chicago and Cincinnati and was nominated for a Drama Desk Award.
