This art-filled day starts at Walnut Creek’s Lesher Center for the Arts where you’ll be able to valet park your bike for free with Bike East Bay. At 10 am you’re invited to join a guided tour of Walnut Creek’s prolific downtown public art collection. From original murals to functional art, this 45-minute walking tour highlights this acclaimed Bay Area collection. Following the tour, ticket-holders are invited to get groovy and explore Bedford Gallery’s latest exhibition, Drawn to Abstraction: Prints from the 1960s and 70s. This show features an extraordinary collection of works by artists now widely recognized as giants of 20th century art, including Josef Albers, Max Ernst, Helen Frankenthaler, Roy Lichtenstein, Joan Miró, Robert Rauschenberg and others.

Advance tickets are required, and space is limited. registration closes Friday, November 1 at 2 pm. This art-filled experience is perfect for ages 10 and up. All youth must be accompanied by an adult, and tickets are required for all attendees.

Valet Parking begins at 9:30 am and all bikes must be picked up no later than 1:30pm.
